Our Services

Crossroads CareThere are 7 million unpaid Carers across the UK, representing just over one tenth of the population. There are 850,000 Carers across the South East alone. Crossroads Care Kent support approximately 1,500 people in the community in Kent and provide over 3,000 care hours a week. We want to do much more...

Here at Crossroads we have a passion for supporting Carers and the people they care for. For over 30 years across Kent, our staff have been visiting families who are providing loving care and support for their family members or friends, unselfishly and unconditionally.

No-one prepares to care, yet every year over 2 million people become carers for the first time, sometimes overnight, and have to take on a wide range of caring roles, ranging from supporting someone with practical tasks such as shopping or housework, to having to care for someone’s every need, including high levels of personal care.

Our mission is to ensure that every Carer gets the support they need at the earliest possible opportunity; a regular break and appropriate and timely information and advice. Without this support Carers’ physical and mental health could be at risk, which may lead to them having to give up their role as a Carer, and an unplanned, or unwanted admission to residential or nursing care for the person they are looking after.

Our staff, volunteers and Trustees are committed to providing services that are specifically built around the needs of Carers, working alongside them to provide the best possible care for every person that needs support.
